cobralingus

Picture
Cobralingus allows language to partake in a liquid state of consciousness. It uses Jeff Noon's metamorphiction process to apply the techniques of electronic dance music to the production of words, dissolving language. In this mutated, liquid form, samples of borrowed text are manipulated and transformed into new shapes and patterns. Stories, poems and diagrams emerge from the machine. Please note: no actual software is used in this device. Cobralingus utilises imaginary technologies that exist only in the writer's head. Think of the book as Jeff's weird solo album.
